It didn’t work. No one called me. It went on and on, endlessly, relentlessly… I’ve [taken up jobs such as] Production work, AD and spot boy. In some ad agencies, I was the junior copywriter. And that’s where I learned a very important thing in my life: humility. Because of everything happening around me, my ego was crushed. Never underestimate the power of your imagination. That’s where the survival issue came in, and I started to teach [acting]. You lose your faith in yourself when you are so often abused. And, you think, ‘If you don’t get out now, you’ll fall sick.’ Because you can’t take it every single day of your life.”
