This is the final number. Estimate The episodes will range in price from $25,000 to $40,000 each. They have to share that money among them, and they took a pay cut in order to keep the series on TLC.
They have been airing the show since 2010 and are currently working on their 16th Season. Through 15 seasons, there have been 178 episodes, which has aided in Kody and his wife’s ability to amass their net worths.
The series follows Kody and his polygamist wives Meri Janelle, Christine, Robyn. As a family, they have 18 kids.
Kody was president of Das Hundhaus Firearms and Accessories before appearing on television. Kody now focuses solely on his family brand and show.
However, his wives have continued to run side hustles. Meri manages a bed & breakfast, Janelle is a motivational blogger about exercise, Robyn runs an online jewelry and clothing shop, and Christine founded a business called CBrown Quest, LLC.
In recent seasons of “Sister Wives”, Kody has been seen complaining about the family’s financial struggles. That isn’t all that surprising considering all the mouths they have to feed.
They have filed for bankruptcy twice in the past. Two of their children were also hospitalized, resulting in six-figure hospital costs.
There’s no question that Kody could have a higher net worth (like most reality stars) if it weren’t for having such as big family. But that’s the price of being a polygamist.
