Jackie Collins was conceived in Hampstead, London, on the 4th October 1937. Her parents were Joseph William Collins and Elsa Collins. Joseph William Collins was her father and a theatrical agent.
She was raised with her older sister Joan and younger brother Bill. She enrolled in Francis Holland School, an independent day school for girls, to study. She was 15 years old when she was expelled.
