- After his parents’ separation in 1994, he lived with his mother and sister. In an interview, he talked about his parents’ separation, he said,
My sister and me were young when our parents split. Our mum quit working during our childhood because she was unable to devote her time and energy to our education and upbringing. We were raised by her in a very simple and grounded way. Sometimes it’s not an ideal situation when parents get separated. Both of my parents were important to me. We are like close friends today because mum is always open to Dad and vice versa. You must be open-minded and helpful as a child. There’s nothing to feel embarrassed about. Keep your eyes open for the positive. Life is beautiful and everyone has to make the most of it.”

When I was a student in Los Angeles, it was probably about a decade ago. It was a time when I was involved in a long-distance relationship with a Mumbai girl. They were long-distance lovers and chatted online. My university had granted me a week’s leave and I flew from LA to Mumbai without her knowing, to finally meet her at her home after six months. To make up an excuse, I had to tell her that my laptop was failing and needed repairs. for Being out of touch for Surprise her by the length of the lengthy flight. I think that was the craziest thing I did, but she was also really excited that I took the effort.”
