Adesh Kumar Gopta: Some Little-Known Facts
- Adesh Kumar Gupta hails from Uttar Pradesh (UP), whereas, after attaining a degree in Bachelor of Science, he moved to Delhi in 1986 in search of a job and eventually ended up starting a construction and maintenance business.
- Shambhu Dyal Gopta was his father and was a former BJP head of Gursahaiganj in Uttar Pradesh.
- Adesh Kumar worked for ABVP (a student-affiliated RSS political organization) during his college years.
- Adesh Gopta was taken to Kanpur’s temporary jail from 1991-92. for Participating actively in construction of the Ram temple.
- He served as the head of Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), a student organisation in the year 1995-96.
